Khattacks, Achakziais, Barakziais, Mohammedziais, Populziais are all various tribes of the Afghan Pashtuns and their cousins, the Pakistani Pakhtuns. The suffix “-ziai” means “son of Mohammed, Popul, Barak etc. as we have John-son, Jack-son.
